About Odell Cleveland

Rev. Odell Cleveland is the Founder and Owner of Cal Tee Solutions, LLC, a strategic advisory firm that helps healthcare systems develop high-impact partnerships with faith-based institutions to expand community health access, strengthen caregiver support systems, and activate trusted community networks.

With more than three decades of leadership across nonprofit, faith-based, and private-sector organizations, Rev. Cleveland operates at the roundabout of healthcare collaboration, faith institutions, and community development. His work focuses on designing innovative partnerships that help healthcare systems reach underserved populations while strengthening the role of faith communities as trusted community infrastructure.

Rev. Cleveland is the developer of The Cleveland Method™ for Community Health Collaboration, a framework that connects healthcare systems, faith institutions, community organizations, and capital partners to improve health outcomes and support aging populations. His work also advances the Intelligent Aging Initiative, a growing field of research and innovation that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and data analytics to improve independence, quality of life, and healthcare outcomes for older adults.

Earlier in his career, at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro, he served for 13 years as Chief Administrative Officer. In that role, he helped build the church’s organizational and operational infrastructure and, within his first three years, assisted in leading the effort to eliminate the church’s debt obligation. The church has remained debt-free ever since, positioning the institution for long-term financial stability and expanded community impact.

Rev. Cleveland’s work has also contributed to academic discussions on nonprofit development and social entrepreneurship. He co-authored a case study with Bob Wineburg published by Oxford University Press in the book Pracademics and Community Change, which examines how practitioners translate academic theory into practical community innovation. He further strengthened his leadership in community development through the Summer Leadership Institute for Church-Based Community and Economic Development at Harvard Divinity School, a nationally respected program designed to equip faith leaders with tools for economic and social transformation. Today, Rev. Cleveland is emerging as a thought leader advancing innovative partnerships between healthcare systems and faith institutions.
